Our goal is to make your experience at Star Orthodontics convenient for you and your family. We offer the following daily, weekend and evening hours for your convenience. Our office provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

||8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
In order to insure quality orthodontic care, it is imperative that our patients understand the manner in which we schedule our appointments. We value your time both as a parent and a patient and make every effort to stay on or ahead of schedule. We understand that most parents work and all children attend school. Since the majority of our patients are of school age, it is unavoidable that some school be missed. Work and school excuses are provided and it is important for the patient to obtain these from our scheduling coordinators before they leave their appointment. For your convenience, we do offer late appointments on Thursday, lunch hour appointments, and Saturday appointments.
Emergencies: Our office provides emergency care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most emergencies are the result of general discomfort, soreness, and loose or broken appliance and can be temporarily resolved with step by step instruction by a member of our team until the patient can come in for an appointment. In the event that there is severe pain, swelling, or bleeding, these patients will be seen as soon as possible. These instances typically involve trauma to the face or mouth due to an accident.
Long Appointment Procedures: Please keep in mind that there are certain procedures that require longer appointment times (initial patient bandings, loose bands or brackets, broken archwires or ties, lost/broken appliances, retainers, debands) and these procedures are only scheduled on certain days at certain hours to allow for adequate time to complete the appointment. Generally, these long appointments are scheduled during morning weekday hours.
Cancellations: Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you and in order to complete your treatment in a timely manner, it’s important not to miss appointments! We require 48 hour notice for all cancellation and rescheduling requests. Appointment times missed or not cancelled with 48 hours notice are subject to a fee. Another appointment will be scheduled but may require 6-8 weeks since this is our normal patient rotation. Cancelling or missing appointments on a regular basis will increase your treatment time.
